5 Of My Favorite Face Masks

Robe print is sold out but style linked here!

Quarantine has me taking my skincare game to the next level! I am home more, so I’ve been playing around with products to see what my skin is loving. My second daughter, Bobbie, was born two months ago, and I was craving a massage and facial, but that’s just not an option with COVID right now. That means I am giving my skin a little more TLC at home. The five masks below are my absolute favorites. I use each for different reasons, but the combo of all of them in my skincare regimen leaves my skin feeling pretty fabulous. My dark spots were bad during pregnancy (dang hormones!), but postpartum I see a significant improvement in my skin overall texture and tone. I hope some of these masks become of your favorites too, and please leave a comment of some of your go-to facial masks because I always want to try new ones!!! 🙂

Drunk Elephant F-Balm Electrolyte Waterfacial: a super hydrating overnight mask. Ideal when your skin is feeling dehydrated and dry. I find I wake up with my face feeling more plump and hydrated. This facial goes on clear and doesn’t feel sticky.

Drunk Elephant Baby Facial: This is not to be used if pregnant or breastfeeding, so I sadly can’t use it right now, but I cannot wait till I can add this fabulous face mask back into my routine 1-2x a week. It contains high-quality AHA/BHA to help resurface your skin. I get terrible dark spots and can tell this facial helps with my texture and dark spots tremendously. It’s lightweight and makes your face feel as smooth as a baby’s bottom!

BeautyCounter Overnight Resurfacing Peel: During my pregnancy, I talked on Instagram stories about how horrible my dark spots were from all the pregnancy hormones. I received TONS of DMs telling me to try this resurfacing peel, and now I get all the hype. I saw an improvement in texture while using in pregnancy, but postpartum is where I see the significant results! A combo of my hormones settling and using this mask 1-2x a week has left my skin glowing and a more even skin tone.

Tammy Fender Epi Peel: this exfoliating mask is ideal when your skin needs a refresh. I scrub mine in since it is a gritty exfoliant and then let that sit for about 5-10 minutes. It smells super minty and delicious and helps cleanse away some of the top layers of dead skin. My skin is left looking brighter and more youthful. May Lindstrom The Problem Solver: Ideal for problem-prone skin. This is my absolute go-to when I am having a breakout and can even be used as a spot treatment. This is a pricier mask, but it is in powder form which you mix with water, so it seriously lasts forever! I’ve had mine for about three years and still have a TON left! It contains activated charcoal to draw out impurities and detoxify the skin.
